Studio rental for photographers
Running a business has many overhead costs, especially for professional photographers and one of those are studio rental. My private and secluded photography studio is situated on my property in Gainsborough, a little historical town on the north west border of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, sandwiched between the industrial city of Scunthrope and Lincolshires city center of Lincoln. It’s only a stone throw away from Doncaster city and Retford market town.
Due to having children and only working one weekend, my studio is therefore available to rent to other professionals at an affordable price. This stops the studio from collecting dust and helps keep it’s upkeep.
Facilities
There are three main sections to photograph in;
The ‘bed’ set up; Natural light window on right and two LED White light wall light panels on left wall.
The ‘couch’ set up; this is a smaller space, but the vintage couch is beautiful. This is ideal for clients to sit.
The ‘White wall’ set up; Two LED white light panels on the left wall.
Lighting:
There is a LED continuous round light.
One medium octo-softbox on strobe (Please bring your own trigger and receiver)
There are two sets of two fixed, White light, continuous, LED light panels on the walls.
One LED continuous strip light.
Toilet: Individual toilet in garage for clients to use and for changing.
Wheelchair access: Flat drive and walkway to studio with a step on entering.
Parking: On drive and street parking available.
Internet: Free Internet available, separate from our home server.
Booking is agreeing to these T&C
Terms of use include:
Users must clean up after each use, no exception. Rubbish must be emptied into the bins at the front of the property at the end of your session.
Users must bring their own camera, no camera hire is included in rent.
Users must take care not to damage any items, they must pay for any damages with no exception. Users must let me know immediately if there has been any damage to the building or equipment.
Users must respect our home, our property and our privacy and behave decently and professional at all times. I will be in the home at all times when you have booked and have no issue calling the police due to non compliance.
There is absolutely NO smoking on site at all, smoking including vapes must be done OFF the driveway.
No money is left on the premises.
There is CCTV on the premises.
Photographers must be insured, no exceptions.
These terms of use are not flexible.
Your booking is only confirmed when you have booked online and paid your rental fee and this has been received. This must be paid for in advance.
Cancellations must be done within 24 hours, no exceptions. You can reschedule up to one time and no shows forfeit their payment.
Music must be kept to a reasonable noise. There is a google in the studio.
There is room for 2 cars only on the drive. You must respect our street and neighbourhood.
Users must ensure minors have consent from a guardian over the age of 21, no exceptions.
No alterations of decoration, or furniture is allowed. Only movment of lights.
Users are NOT permitted to sub-contract, no exceptions.
Bookings may be able to be extended on the day, but may not.
Users are liable for their own clients and I shall not be liable for any loss or damage from your booking.
You may not remove any equipment or props off the property.
You must not use any equipment that has not been PAT tested.
Any service done for clients, is done by the user and under your contract.
You must not allow any untrained, minor to use the equipment.
Any major damages will cost interest if it causes me loss of work in my studio.
No digital filming is allowed outside of the studio space.
I shall terminate the contract if payment is not made, if evidence is presented against the indecent nature of the user. If the user is in breach of the contract.
Studio rental is £10 per hour (Minimum of 90 minutes £15)
